Enter the estimated material cost per square foot. This may include rafters, trusses, roof sheathing, blocking, connectors, fasteners, clips, hangers, and waste allowance. Material pricing should be updated with current local supplier quotes before using the estimate for serious budgeting.

Step 4: Enter Labor Cost Per Square Foot

Enter the estimated labor cost per square foot. Labor pricing can vary based on roof pitch, framing method, crew availability, contractor pricing, schedule, safety requirements, and structural complexity.

Step 5: Click Calculate Cost

After entering the values, click the calculate button. The calculator will show the estimated roof framing cost, including materials, labor, roof complexity adjustment, 10% contingency, and total estimated cost.
